Frank Goldfarb - System Design Consultant
Frank moved to Asheville with his wife Hellen, daughter Amanda, and son Michael from South Florida in 2003 looking for a better quality of life for the family as well as a more wholesome environment to raise his children. He has a BA degree in Psychology from Emory University in Atlanta, Ga.
Frank was a 50% principal and co-founder of a medical device company and developed several different proprietary minimally invasive surgical instrument systems for plastic surgery, as well as proprietary minimally invasive systems for cardiovascular surgery. He sold out of his company in 1999 and became involved in designing and distributing very large industrial UPS (interruptible power systems) until his move to Asheville. Frank was responsible for the specification and supply of the UPS replacement system for the Miami Dade Rapid Transit System. This supply contract exceeded $1.5 million dollars.
A lifelong music lover, Frank is one of three audio "nuts" at Comtec, taking pride in a home based audio/video system that is uncanny in its realism and provides an unparalleled look into all of the entertainment played through the system.
