Turnkey Service: Comtec is one of the few companies in the Western North Carolina area that provide a true one-stop-shop. We provide all of your electronic systems including home theater, music and video distribution, computerized lighting control, home automation, motorized window treatment, integrated telephone and intercom, computer networking and structured wiring for the communications infrastructure. We can also integrate your existing equipment into any of our systems. Our home automation systems can also be designed and programmed to operate any electronic device in the home, allowing for a single user-friendly control system.

Design Services: At Comtec, each electronic system is custom-designed to meet the individual needs of our clients. Our ultimate goal is to understand each client's lifestyle and design a system that will make that lifestyle more comfortable and enjoyable.

Service After the Sale: One of the most important parts of any business is the quality of service after the sale. At Comtec we strive for quick response and repair time. If there is ever a service issue with any of our electronic systems, you can rest assured that Comtec will be there.

Project Management: Our Project Management staff is trained to supervise each project to guarantee a high-quality installation. Each construction phase is coordinated with the architect, contractor, interior designer, electrician, cabinet maker, and various other trades to insure all installation details are covered.

Expert Technicians: A home or business full of electronic devices is just that without trained technicians to properly wire, install, program, and calibrate each component and system. Our technicians are some of the best in the business and will insure each system installed by Comtec functions as it was designed.

Direct Dealerships: We offer direct dealerships for all of the electronic components we sell. This guarantees greater service and reliability for all of our customers. Many companies who venture into our industry, such as security and electrical contractors, do not buy direct from the manufacturer. Therefore, they cannot 100% guarantee the products they sell. We stand behind all of our products, which insures greater reliability and enjoyment for years to come.

Education: We are the only custom electronic system design and installation company in Western North Carolina that is certified through the American Institute of Architects to offer continuing education credit. We extend these classes to building contractors and customers to educate them on electronic home and emerging technologies. Our staff has also made regular "Smart-Home" technology article contributions to the Asheville Citizen-Times as well as WNC Builder/Architect Magazine.
